We are grateful to our longstanding partner, the Arab Regional Centre for World Heritage (ARC-WH), for facilitating the translation into Arabic; Bunkacho – Agency for Cultural Affairs, Government of Japan, for the translation into Japanese; and UNESCO, which has facilitated the resource's translation into Macedonian.
These three new translations are in addition to the French translation, which debuted earlier this month, and the original English.
By providing key resources in different languages, we are improving the accessibility and availability of essential information. It is crucial that heritage professionals have the resources they need to assess the potential impacts of development projects and changes on World Heritage sites, and this translation is an important step in that direction.
