The ICCROM Fora are a regular series of think tank events designed to stimulate fundamental debate on topics of widespread and critical importance. A key feature of the ICCROM Fora is that they cross cultural and disciplinary boundaries to bring new voices and fresh perspectives. In doing so they provide a platform to progress current thinking through critical reflection to examine – and where necessary rethink – both the practice and the foundations of heritage conservation.

Past Fora have tackled topics such as the protection of cultural property in conflict zones, the conservation of religious heritage, and the future of heritage science.
