On 2 February, Mrs Gihane Zaki, Director of the Egyptian Academy in Rome and ICCROM Council Member, visited ICCROM.
On 1 February, Mrs Elena Bogdanova, Director, Kizhi Open Air Museum, and Ms Olga Bukchina, Leading Specialist of the World Heritage Site Management Unit of the Kizhi Open Air Museum, visited ICCROM.

ICCROM and the Ibermuseos Program are launching the Spanish and Portuguese adaptation of A Guide to Risk Management of Cultural Heritage, originally published in English and Arabic by ICCROM and the Canadian Conservation Institute. Adapted specifically for museums, this new guidebook is the first step in a fruitful collaboration between the two organizations which will provide a series of tools...
The ICCROM Library is providing a constantly growing set of Open Access resources in conservation through its catalogue interface. These include papers from the most recent ICOM CC triennial meetings, 2011-2017, as well as a multitude of scholarly and peer-reviewed research journals, all freely available at no charge under Open Access.
On 24 January, a delegation from Moldova headed by Dr Andrei Chistol, Secretary of State, Ministry of Education, Culture and Research, visited ICCROM.
ICCROM’s Director-General, Dr Webber Ndoro, led an ICCROM team at a Conference of European Ministers of Culture from 20 – 22 January in Davos, Switzerland. The conference took place just before the annual World Economic Forum in Davos.
On 19 January, Mr Tom Duffy, Chargé d'Affaires, and Ms Sandrine Goffard, Political/Economic Officer, Alternate Permanent Representative, of the U.S. Mission to United Nations Agencies in Rome, visited ICCROM.
