The project of transferring Khufu’s Solar Ship to the Grand Egyptian Museum was included in the shortlist of the projects nominated for the third edition of the ICCROM-Sharjah Award for Good Practices in Culture Heritage Conservation and Management in the Arab Region (2020-2022), which is held under the patronage of Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammad Al-Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah.

UNESCO and ICCROM join forces with the Maidan Museum of Kyiv to support Ukraine’s museums

UNESCO, ICCROM and the Maidan Museum in Kyiv (Ukraine) have translated the manual Endangered Heritage: Emergency Evacuation of Heritage Collections (Спадщина у небезпеці – Екстрена евакуація культурних цінностей), into Ukrainian. UNESCO will support the distribution of some 2,000 printed copies across Ukraine, to areas with no or limited internet access.

11. travnja 2022. – Hrvatski konzervatori u suradnji s Javnom vatrogasnom postrojbom u Trogiru nastavljaju s provedbom projekta „Smanjivanje rizika od požara u povijesnom gradu Trogiru“ pa je tako proteklog vikenda u Zbirci sakralne umjetnosti Župe sv. Lovre održana edukativna radionica te simulacija požara i spašavanja umjetnina.
