Sixty-seven communications presented to the international technical conference held in Athens (Greece), 31 October to 3 November 1989, deal with the various problems of masonry building consolidation and repair. Divided into four sections:
- diagnosis and assessment of existing structures;
- redesign of repaired or strengthened structures;
- case studies of strengthening and repair;
- codes, recommendations and specifications.
