Today, ICCROM was pleased to welcome officials from the Ministries of Culture of several African Union Member States, currently participating in the 5th African Union Commission Course. WHAPS is a training and international cooperation project which aims to enhance the skills of African cultural heritage professionals as they navigate the complexities of nominating sites to the UNESCO World Heritage Lists and managing heritage sites effectively.
