On Tuesday, 27 February 2024, ICCROM Director-General Aruna Francesca Maria Gujral had the honour of receiving Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Azerbaijan to Italy, Permanent Representative to RBAs, HE Mr Rashad Aslanov.
Discussions were held on possible future collaborations between Azerbaijan and ICCROM aimed at strengthening capacity building and knowledge transfer in heritage management, particularly targeting the exchange of young professionals, as well as advancing the application of ICCROM's digital tools and models.
We thank HE Rashad Aslanov for visiting and look forward to continuing our cooperation with Azerbaijan for cultural heritage.
