This survey has been undertaken to identify past and current trends in conservation literature. The study focused on fifteen well established conservation publications in four different languages (English, French, German, and Spanish), which together comprise a representative corpus of conservation literature. Over 3500 articles were collected, classified, and analysed. With the aid of data visualisation software (Tableau public) the information was transformed into the interactive graphs and charts presented here.
