On 3 March 2022, ICCROM had the honour of welcoming Ambassador Cindy McCain, U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Agencies in Rome, who presented her credentials to Director-General, Webber Ndoro.

On 29 November ICCROM received a visit from Muhammad Juma, Chief of the Africa Unit of the UNESCO World Heritage Centre, and Dawson Munjeri of Zimbabwe. On 29 November the Director-General, Webber Ndoro met with Ola Wetterberg, Director of the Centre for Critical Heritage Studies, Department of Conservation at the University of Gothenburg and member of the ICCROM Council. On Friday 2 July 2021, Director-General Webber Ndoro was honoured to meet with H.E. Hassan Nadhim, Minister of Culture in Iraq, and Mr Zaid Al-Ani, First Secretary of the Embassy of Iraq in Rome.
