Project: carried out research on the Medina project on protecting historic cities in the Arab region. N.B. Internship interrupted owing to Covid and continued on-line.

Programme: First Aid and Resilience for Cultural Heritage in Times of Crisis (FAR).
Project: contributed to the research and design of multiple information tools and publications of
ICCROM's flagship programme on Fist Aid and Resilience for Cultural Heritage in Times of Crisis (FAR).

Partnership and Communication Unit
Project: assisted in updating and refreshing content on the web; contributed to the 2020 Annual Report and refine the Communications Strategy.

INDIA

Aishwarya DESHMUKH (3 February to 6 March and on-line from 15 September to 15 December

Programme: World Heritage and Capacity Building
Project: collected and analyzed the results of capacity building activities for World Heritage within the scope of the past 10 years, to evaluate the impact and effectiveness of the World Heritage Capacity Building Strategy adopted in 2011.

KOREA

Sojeong KANG (On-line: 1 October to 31 December)

Programme: World Heritage and Capacity Building
Project: supported the preparations for the online 2021 course ‘’Understanding People, Nature, Culture: Heritage Management for Building Resilience of Living Traditional Settlements" by coordinating sessions with moderators and resource persons, compiling reading materials, preparing session outlines and setting up a virtual platform.

JORDAN

Hedaya GHARAIBEH (On-line: 15 October to 15 March)

Programme: First Aid and Resilience for Cultural Heritage in Times of Crisis (FAR).
Project:  assisted in carrying out background research and references for the FAR publications and contributed to the preparation of learning resources for upcoming online courses.

Project: contributed to research related to the adhesion of Italy to ICCROM with a view of creating a video to capture and illustrate the collaboration between Italy and ICCROM’s activity. Assisted in organizing the first meeting of Member States held on 18 March 2021.
