International Centre for the Study of the Preservation and Restoration of Cultural Property 
This year marks two decades of contributing to the upskilling of new heritage professionals through the ICCROM Internship and Fellows Programme. A new group of fellows and interns joins us each quarter; in the third quarter of 2022, we welcomed one visiting researcher and four interns representing five countries.
On Monday, 12 September 2022, ICCROM Director-General Mr Webber Ndoro was honoured to meet the new Ambassador of Iraq to Italy, H.E. Mr Siwan Barzani, and Mr Zaid Tarik Al Ani, Counsellor at ICCROM Headquarters.
On Monday, 5 September, ICCROM Director-General Webber Ndoro had the honour of welcoming Tokuko Nabeshima, Counsellor at the Embassy of Japan in Rome, Italy. Also present on behalf of ICCROM was Hirofumi Ikawa, Project Manager and Japanese secondment.
On Thursday, 1 September, ICCROM welcomed a delegation of 21 cultural heritage experts from Iceland to its headquarters, headed by the Director General of its national Cultural Heritage Agency.
On 4 August 2022, ICCROM had the honour of receiving Deputy Permanent Representative, Deputy Chief of Mission Rodney M. Hunter and Samuel Rothenberg, Alternate Permanent Representative and Political/Economic Officer, from the US Mission to the United Nations Agencies in Rome.
On 1 July 2022, ICCROM Director-General Webber Ndoro had the honour of welcoming Cisse Mariama Mohammed, Director for Health, Humanitarian Affairs and Social Development of the African Union Commission, and Angela Martins, Head of the Culture Division of the African Union Commission.

On 17 May, 2022, ICCROM Director-General Webber Ndoro had the honour of meeting with Goppion Technology SpA's Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Alessandro Goppion. Today ICCROM staff met with Mr Kilbai Lee, working at the UNESCO World Heritage Centre as a secondment from the Republic of Korea, CHA. We discussed possible ways to strengthen our collaborations on capacity building for World Heritage.
