Managing Asian Heritage
Annual Forums were organized on different themes for four years from 2013 to 2016. Each Forum provided the opportunity to explore, research and discuss one key theme, focusing on current debates taking place in the Asian region but making comparisons to similar issues elsewhere when appropriate. The fifth Forum focused on revisiting the results of the previous four, in order to contribute to regional capacity-building efforts. Participants produced guidance notes on each theme that will benefit all three audiences linked to heritage management, namely practitioners, policy-makers, and communities/networks.
